History of Lower Manhattan

Reimagining the urban landscape of lower Manhattan requires a strategic approach to addressing the challenges posed by high-density areas. Our vision focuses on reducing these compact areas through the thoughtful integration of public spaces, thereby fostering equitable residential environments and ensuring that the benefits of urban development are distributed fairly among all residents.

Currently, lower Manhattan is characterized by pockets of high-density development. This concentration can lead to congestion, limited access to green spaces, and increased pressure on essential infrastructure such as transportation, utilities, and public services. To alleviate these issues, we propose strategic interventions through the creation of well-designed public spaces.
